This is for the few of you that have a space in my heart and don't have facebook!!
I update facebook much more then my family blog, well maybe tooooo much but oh well.
We have been busy with all our day to day running around.
I have been doing a bit of .......something I guess..... chauffeur, baby sitter, house keeper and personal shopper! Starting January 6, I will be homeschooling Alani and joined a few groups where we will be doing field trips with. I am excited to be able to spend so much time with her and get to know other moms in my area.
Bill has been working tons, as of the end of January he will be working from home which he is excited about not having to drive 2 extra hours a day. He still talks me into playing golf with him, even though he said if we golfed more I would actually be good! (so not to say better then him)
Jake has been busy with cub scouts, parkour, tutoring and playing with his friends. He enjoys anything that is video games related. He also enjoys his legos and has spent hours building some huge sets. This year he got new bedroom furniture with his own lego station and its more of a "older boy" room which he likes. He is in his 4th year of cub scouts and enjoys doing most of the work and outings involved. He will be starting winter soccer in a few weeks. Jake also got to fly to CA to see his family there. He was a brave boy and flew alone. He got to go during the summer and he went for Christmas. He gets spoiled rotten when he is there and enjoys his time with them.
Alani is 3 going on 13! She has been taking dance and loves it, she loves to sing and the Christmas show at school proved it. We were not sure what she would do but she belted out all the words for baby Jesus to hear. This is the first year she was into Christmas. She loves the story of baby Jesus and can't stop singing Christmas songs. She also started a Montessori preschool in August and her last day was December 20. She loves to learn and I am hoping to be able to keep up with her. I hope she enjoys all the fun things I have planned for her while I attempt to home school her. Alani also gave up her mimi this year!! No more pacifier!!
As a family we have enjoyed camping so much that we upgraded our popup tent trailer to a 23 ft trailer. We are now "glamping" or rving and look forward to spending more time in it this summer! San Diego here we come!! We took the kids to Disneyland this year. We spent a week there! I am hoping that bought us at least 5 years before we need to go back!
